El Affo.... wtf?

👋 Who exactly is El Affo?

I'm Andreas – a family man, a Palatinate native, and a passionate collector since childhood. LEGO®, MOTU, Monster High, Playmobil, small treasures, big memories – all of these have been with me my whole life.

El Affo Toys was born from this passion:

a calm, honest shop for collectors who value condition, trust, and personal service. No loud promises, no marketing noise – just a place to browse, discover, and enjoy.

I personally inspect every product, photograph honestly, and describe it as I would expect it myself as a collector. Down-to-earth, transparent, and with great attention to detail.

😄 Fun Fact: Why is the shop called “El Affo”?

The name sounds like it has an epic backstory – but it doesn't.

“El” is Spanish for “the.” And “Affo”? My intentionally incorrect translation of “Affe” (monkey). Just for fun. A spontaneous thought that made me laugh and stuck.

A bit quirky, a bit self-deprecating – and therefore perfect for a shop run with humor, heart, and a collector's passion.

☕️ Fancy a visit?

I appreciate every personal contact.

If you want to pick up your order, feel free to drop by – and if you like, we can chat over a good coffee about collecting, figures, finds, or simply about the good old days.

You save on shipping costs, we get to know each other, and maybe you'll even find something that hasn't made it into the shop yet.

My little bar corner – drinks, two stools, a bit of space to sit and chat. This is often where the best conversations happen: about figures, series, old times, new releases, or simply life. A place to exchange ideas, talk shop, and laugh. Many stay longer than planned – and that's exactly how it should be.

Just let me know shortly beforehand – I look forward to it.
